The 1WYO Advisory Board is made up of some of the finest student athletes in the long and proud history of University of Wyoming athletics. Our Advisory Board shares the 1WYO mission to promote and strengthen local charitable organizations and develop Wyoming student athletes.

Marcus Bailey
Men's Basketball
2000-2003
A graduate of Cheyenne East High School, Marcus is one of the finest basketball players ever to play at the University of Wyoming, Marcus led the Cowboys to back-to-back conference championships and an NCAA Tournament berth. Marcus was selected to the 10-member Wyoming All-Century Team in 2005. Marcus is a member of the University of Wyoming’s 2015 Class Athletics Hall of Fame. Currently, Marcus is a medical doctor and radiologist in Casper, Wyoming. As one of the only fellowship trained breast imagers in Wyoming, he hopes to use the knowledge and training gained to help improve women’s health throughout the state through early detection/diagnosis of breast cancer.
Frank Crum
Football
2018-2023
A 2018 graduate of Laramie High School, Frank is a third-generation member of the Wyoming Cowboy’s football team. Frank started all 13 games in 2021 and was chosen honorable mention All-Mountain West Conference. In 2022, Frank was named third-team All-MW by Pro Football Focus. Frank returned to UW for a final season in 2023 and was named first-team all-conference. Frank ended his collegiate career with 55 games played and 48 starts. He played in the 2024 Hula Bowl and was invited to the NFL Scouting Combine. Currently Frank is an offensive lineman for the Denver Broncos.
Hunter Maldonado
Men's Basketball
2017-2023
Hunter attended Vista Ridge High School in Colorado Springs and was named The Gazette 5A-4A Boys’ Basketball Peak Performer of the Year in 2016. As a redshirt sophomore at the University of Wyoming Hunter averaged 15.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, and four assists per game while shooting 42 percent from the field. He was a Third Team All-Mountain West selection by the league media. As a redshirt junior, Hunter averaged 12.5 points per game, and led Wyoming with 6.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. Hunter was named to the First Team All-Mountain West as a fifth-year senior. In October of 2023 Hunter joined the NBA G League’s Oklahoma City Blue where he plays guard. On April 15, 2024 the Blue won the G League Championship.
Bryce Meredith
Wrestling
2015-2018
Bryce is a graduate of Central High School in Cheyenne. He was a four-time state champion. After spending his Freshman year at North Carolina State, Bryce transferred to the University of Wyoming. Bryce finished the 2015-2016 season with a 29-5 record becoming the 32nd All-American selection in Cowboy history. Bryce success continued in 2016-2017 where he became just the seventh Poke to earn All-American honors at least twice in a career. Bryce had his most successful season as a senior in 2017-2018 where he became a two–time NCAA finalist, three–time All-American and a Big 12 champion with a record of 108 wins and 21 losses. Bryce is currently an undefeated professional mixed martial artist competing in the bantamweight division of Bellator MMA.
Tommi Olson
Women's Basketball
2018-2023
Raised in Worland, Tommi is the daughter of Del and Elsa Olson. Her mother was a four-year letter winner (1981-84) for the Wyoming basketball program. Tommi attended high school in Highlands Ranch, Colorado before joining the University of Wyoming’s women’s basketball program in 2018. A four-year starter, Tommi finished her illustrious career in the Brown & Gold tied for third in program history with 128 games played and is seventh in program history with 375 career assists and 172 career steals. Tommi Olson was on the Mountain West Tournament All-Tournament Team in 2021; Academic All-Mountain West in 2020-2022; Mountain West Scholar-Athlete 2019-2022 and CSIDA Academic All-District Team in 2023. In the Fall of 2022 Tommi was accepted into UW’s School of Pharmacy-Master of Health Services Administration program.
Chris Prosinski
Football
2006-2010
A 2005 graduate of Buffalo High School, Chris was the Milward Simpson Outstanding Senior Male Athlete and the Wyoming Offensive Player of the Year Award. Although a highly recruited athlete out of High School, Chris decided to stay home and play football for the University of Wyoming. Playing safety, during his college football career Chris ranked No. 4 in career tackles in school history with 373. His senior year Chris ranked No. 3 in the Mountain West Conference in tackles (9.0 per game) and ranked No. 37 in the nation for all players at all positions. Chris was a team captain and a two-time All-Mountain West Conference selection for the Cowboys. Chris was drafted in the fourth round (121st overall) of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars. During his seven (7) year NFL career Chris played safety for the Jaguars, Eagles and Bears. Chris Prosinski is currently a financial advisor with Eliason Financial in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Reginald "Reggie" Slater
Men's Basketball
1988-1992
A graduate of Kashmere High School in Houston, Texas, Reggie played basketball for the Cowboys between 1989 and 1992. Reggie was the first player in WAC history to win three consecutive rebounding championships and was named a first-team all-WAC selection for those three years. He was the 1992 WAC Player of the Year, as well as an Associated Press Honorable-Mention All-American his senior year. The “Big Cat” finished his career shooting .585 from the field and was named a Sports Illustrated College Player of the Week as a senior. Reggie is a member of the University of Wyoming’s 2002 Class Athletics Hall of Fame. After leaving Wyoming Reggie enjoyed a very successful professional basketball career of twenty (20) years, including eight (8) seasons in the NBA. Currently Reggie lives in Sugar Land, Texas and owns and operates a consulting firm The Slater Group, LLC.
Aubrey Vandiver
Women's Basketball
2007 – 2011
A 2007 graduate of Laramie High School, Aubrey is considered one of the best all-around basketball players in Wyoming history, Aubrey was a three-time all-Mountain West conference selection. As a senior, she was named conference Player of the Year after averaging 19.6 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in conference play. She recorded double- figures in both scoring and rebounding in 27 of 28 games her senior season. During her career at Wyoming, she also earned Academic All-District VII honors, all-conference academic honors, and was named a Mountain West Scholar-Athlete. As a freshman in 2007, she played a key role coming off the bench during the WNIT championship run. After graduation, she played professionally in Spain before embarking on a military career to serve her country. Aubrey is a member of the University of Wyoming’s 2023 Class Athletics Hall of Fame.
Quinn Weidemann
Women's Basketball
2018-2023
A graduate of Omaha Westside High School, Quinn was the 2018 Nebraska Gatorade girls basketball player of the year. By the end of her five (5) year career at Wyoming, Quinn appeared in a program record 149 games, finished 12th in program history with 1,461 career points and 494 made field goals and 323 career assists. As a Cowgirl Quinn was the Mountain West Tournament Most Valuable Player in 2021; All-Mountain West Team in 2023; All-Mountain West Defensive Team 2021-2023); CoSIDA Academic All-District 2021, 2023); Academic All-Mountain West 2019-2022 and Mountain West Scholar-Athlete 2019-2022. Quinn is currently employed by the University of Wyoming Athletic Department in ticketing and sales.
Andrew Wingard
Football
2015-2018
A graduate of Ralston Valley High in Arvada, Colorado, Andrew was the Colorado 2014 Gatorade Player of the Year. As a freshman at the University of Wyoming became the starting strong safety in just the second game of the season and went on earn Freshman All-American status. Andrew’s success continued in his sophomore season when he was named a First Team All-Mountain West selection and a Thorpe Award semifinalist. In his junior and seniors seasons, Andrew was again named a First Team All-Mountain West selection. Andrew finished his career with 454 tackles, being second most in Wyoming history and tied for the most all time in Mountain West history. Andrew joined the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019 and remains under contract with them as a safety and special teams player through 2026.
